Scott M. Rothman joined Halberstadt Curley in May 2005, following his graduation from Temple Universitys Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Rothmans civil practice has focused on a wide range of commercial disputes, title insurance matters, real estate law, employment law, and copyright and trademark litigation. Mr. Rothman has counseled a variety of business clients as well as individuals, and has litigated both plaintiff and defense cases. He has experience in a variety of legal forums, including private arbitrations, judicial arbitrations, bench trials, and jury trials.
His client base includes several national title insurance underwriters, area construction firms, subcontractors and material suppliers, software programming firms, engineering firms, utility consulting firms, a national uniform rental service company, a scrap metals trader, various distributors of consumer and commercial goods, a videography company, a private school, and a home warranty company.
Mr. Rothman has also represented a variety of individual claimants including terminated employees, employees subject to restrictive covenants, employees with unpaid wages, homeowners with water-infested basements and construction defects, minority corporate shareholders, investment partners, and holders of copyrights and trademarks.
